At The Way Church, we are committed to being a people of prayer—through times of personal prayer, weekly prayer gatherings, and prayer ministry in our services. From January 12 - February 1, we are intentionally praying together. Throughout these 21 days, we’ve created a number of spaces to pray, worship & fast together in community on different days, times & locations.

SOUND OF THE CITY is a Christmas concert featuring local artists putting their own spin on Christmas classics. From your favourite carols to originals, we're so excited for you to join us as we celebrate the holiday season together.

Brad Strelau is a pastor at Coquitlam Alliance Church and an expert on the impact of technology on youth. He’ll be exploring the themes from the book The Anxious Generation by John Haidt, focusing on how smartphone usage affects kids and teens. Brad will also share practical tools and strategies for navigating technology with your family.
Dinner Parties: A Women's Night
Get to know the women of The Way Church! An evening for women, hosted by women of our church, to connect meaningfully in smaller groups, around the dinner table. Come for a potluck-style meal, good conversation and get to know the women of our church in your neighbourhood.

A Walk in Refugees' Shoes with Journey Home Community
"A Walk in Refugees' Shoes" will be an interactive opportunity to learn more about the refugee experience. We will hear stories from refugee claimants who were once newcomers in Vancouver.

Join Union Gospel Mission (UGM) for a Community Prayer Walk in Strathcona. We will begin with a short workshop discussing homelessness followed by a Community Prayer Walk led by UGM.
Team Day
Team Day is a one-day event designed to bring everyone who serves in any capacity at The Way Church together for a day of training, worship, and celebration with the upcoming ministry season in mind. Throughout the day, there will be seminars, times of worship, eating, and other moments of gathering, all existing to strengthen and inspire our Serve Team for more unified and effective ministry.

Small Group Training Night
Small group teams representing over 30 groups, are all coming together before small groups launch in the fall! You'll have appetizers and dessert with your small group team, and there will be practical breakout sessions to provide training for each role (i.e. discussion facilitator, hospitality, serve, etc.) Please join us in North Van for this evening if you're on a small group team!

We are inviting youth students, grades 5-12, to join us for The Way Youth Camp this summer (August 15-17). The Way Youth Camp’in will be an epic three days of teams competing in Survivor-themed challenges, Nerf wars, beach excursions, campfires, and other special moments to deepen relationships.
