We love kids and their families and consider it such a honour to serve them. We have lots of ways we do that, from Sundays at The Way Kids, Parent Resource Nights, Parent Connect mornings, and family-focused events to encourage play and fun together. SUNDAY KIDS

The Way Kids in-person experience happens weekly at our 9:00AM Strathcona site and our 9:00AM North Vancouver site for all kids ages 0 to Grade 5 . If you’re joining us for the first time, you can pre-register your kids to make check-in on site fast, simple and easy.

What do Sundays look like?

  1. When you arrive at our kids check-in station, enter your phone number to quickly check-in your child(ren) and receive a tag that will be required for pick-up.

  2. Once checked in, kids are led by our team to age-specific play areas.

  3. After some free play, kids are brought together into a large group for a time of worship, games, bible lesson, activities, and more.

  4. Kids gather for an age-appropriate discussion, prayer time, craft and a nut-free snack.

  5. When the adult service is over, come pick up your child(ren). Bring your check-out tag, and grab a weekly at-home parent resource to help ask questions and further learning at home.

 
 

 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • No. Your child's health and safety are our top priority, therefore we need to be consistent with each parent or guardian. So for that reason, we are only allowing our leaders that have gone through our background screening process in the kids area. If you would like to sign-up and volunteer with your child, let us know! We’d love to have you.

  • Absolutely! When you are registered in our system, we have the ability to notify you via text message during the service.

  • If you need to pick up your child(ren) early, let the team know when you check-in and come pick them up at the check-in desk.

  • Yes, but you will have to make arrangements during drop-off so we can have it in our system for pick-up.

  • At our Strathcona location, there is a room for mothers with babies on the main floor adjacent to the sanctuary. At our North Vancouver location, there is a designated room available. Please ask anyone on our hospitality team and they will kindly direct you.
