Sunday Gatherings

We get out of bed early on a Sunday morning after a late night out with friends, or we wrangle the kids and try to get them out the door on time, we miss football games, we interrupt final exam study sessions and we come to sing songs, hear a message, take communion, pray, give tithes and offerings and serve in a Sunday ministry.

Some of us do this every week. Why? Why are we doing this again?

In this series we are going to talk about why we gather on Sunday, why we sing corporately, why we do prayer ministry, why we listen to messages, why we invite generosity toward the work of ministry and why we take communion every week.

These are key parts of our liturgy and we want to explore together the “why” behind it all.
